Karikili & Vedantangal, Dec 2004

Karikilli is an often ignored water tank near Vedanthangal bird sanctuary in Chenglepet district of Tamil Nadu about 40 kms outside Chennai.

This is a duck paradise when the tank is full. A day trip covering Vedanthangal and Karikili is easily possible from Chennai. Here are some images from a couple of hours spent late in the evening in December 2004.
