Sunset Bay, Mysore

Sunset Bay is a quiet lodge run by Nikesh on the banks of the Krishna Raja Sagara (KRS) backwaters near Mysore. It is a favourite haunt of ours primarily because of the lack of mod cons and being pet friendly. Our spaniel, Silly, loves the place and it is mostly for him we end up at Sunset Bay often. The sunsets are fantastic over the reservoir and the clouds really get dramatic every evening especially during the rainy season.

It also has a lovely collection of several vintage Mercedes Benz’s and a Land Rover truck.
