Test riding Nikon gear!

After being a Canon loyalist for long, I decided to replace my mid-range (500mm) with Nikon. These are my first couple of trips with the rig (D3S, Nikon 500mm VR2, 1.4TC). Some elephant B&Ws are from my Leica on a 35mm lens. Lighting was bad because of the rains so I cannot really make a valid comparison vs. Canon. The coming weeks and months will tell!

Note: I have long dumped the Nikon gear and back to Canon!
